Whitney, Hospital Manager

Whitney was born and raised in Anchorage. She has been interested in animals, both wild and domestic, since a young age. She attended Humboldt State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation. Since graduating, she has worked on numerous field projects researching an assortment of birds, mammals and fish, as well as, a variety of administrative positions. In her free time she enjoys various outdoor activities including: hiking, kayaking and bird watching. She has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel locally, as well as, internationally. Whitney has been snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, snowboarding in the Swiss Alps, zip lining through the jungles of Mexico and on safari in South Africa. Whitney shares her home with 2 spoiled cats, Tobi and Tika, and a rambunctious, but sweet Goldendoodle named Sequoia.


Billy, Associate Manager

Billy began his career in veterinary medicine in 1992. He found his love for the profession after owning his first Akita. In addition to working in the veterinary field, Billy has traveled throughout the lower 48 studying the behavior of wolves in captivity. His love of both animals and nature brought him to Alaska in 2005 with his wife and 2 kids fulfilling a life long dream of living in the Last Frontier. In his spare time, Billy enjoys hiking, camping, kayaking and coaching and playing hockey. Besides the humans in his family, he also shares his home with 2 horses, 2 dogs, 3 cats, a hedgehog and several reptiles.



Georgia, LVT, Lead Technician

Georgia joined our team in 2015. She is a real southern “Peach” who relocated to Alaska in 2012 with her husband and 3 children. She has been working in the Veterinary field since 2003 and has experience working in large, small, avian, exotic and emergency practices. When Georgia isn’t working she enjoys hunting, camping, 4 wheeling, photography, softball and spending time with her family. She and her family are owned by 2 amazing ‘Rotten-weilers’, Honey and Bjorn.


Jill, LVT, Veterinary Technician

Jill is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She moved to Alaska in 2003 from Chicago and never looked back. Jill has been working in the veterinary field since 1994 and became a licensed technician after she moved to Alaska. Her special interests are behavior and nutrition. Jill likes to spend her free time training, showing and sledding with her Siberian Huskies.


Audrey, LVT, Veterinary Technician

Audrey joined Wasilla Veterinary Clinic in July 2017. She is originally from Southern Pines, North Carolina where she attended Central Carolina Community College and received her degree in Veterinary Technology. She is currently in the process of transferring her RVT license from North Carolina to Alaska. Audrey has worked at various animal clinics that have treated both large and small animals while following her husband and his Air Force career. Audrey always emphasizes the importance of client education and enjoys interacting with clients on a daily basis. When not at the clinic Audrey enjoys camping, reading, going on adventurous side by siding rides, watching football, baseball and especially Hockey (all Detroit teams) and sometimes just hanging around the house. She lives with her husband and her 3 dogs, who were all named after famous Detroit Red Wings hockey players.


Cheyenne, Veterinary Technician

Cheyenne joined our team in the fall of 2015. She was born in Oregon, but raised in Anchorage, Alaska. After graduating from Service high, she got a job as a kennel technician in Anchorage. She decided to get out of the city and move to the Mat- Su Valley and start a new chapter. Cheyenne is currently deciding to continue her education and become a certified Technician. Her hobbies vary from camping, snow machining and hiking, to reading and listening/dancing to music. When Cheyenne isn’t working, she enjoys life with her family, friends, and much loved German shepherd, Sierra.


Angie, Veterinary Assistant

Angie was born in Minnesota. She served in the USAF as an aircraft mechanic and has traveled throughout the lower 48 as a semi truck driver. Angie earned her Associates Degree in Veterinary Technology in Boise, Idaho in 2013. She moved to Alaska in 2014 and joined the team at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic in October of 2016. From as long as she can remember, animals have been a huge part of Angie’s life and hold a special place in her heart. She currently shares her home with a horse, 4 dogs, 9 birds and various freshwater fish and when not working, she enjoys spending her time with her animals.


Brittany, Veterinary Assistant

Brittany was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, and has since then followed her husband and his career path to Georgia and Colorado. They recently relocated to Alaska in the spring of 2017 and Brittany joined the team at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic shortly after. She attended The Academy of Art University for a few years pursuing a degree in photography before transferring to Pikes Peak Community College, graduating with an Associates of General Studies degree. She is now studying the Veterinary Technician program through Penn Foster, and hopes to become one in the future. She fell in love with the idea of working with animals after working for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado. In addition to working at the clinic, she is a part time volunteer at the Williams Reindeer Farm, and hopes to gain some experience with a variety of different animals throughout her newfound career path. In her spare time she is a bookworm and loves road trips. Although she has driven coast to coast, the Alaska Highway/Alcan is her all-time favorite drive. Brittany is an adventure lover who has greatly enjoyed crossing things off her bucket list here in Alaska (and adding to it) with her favorite being ice climbing the Matanuska Glacier. Her “Fur babies” include a couple of huskies named Max and Bailey, a shelter pup named Gus and a few cats named Binx and Milo.


Mercedes, Veterinary Assistant

Mercedes has loved animals and has wanted to work in veterinary medicine since she was 8 years old. She worked at an equestrian center for 5 years before coming to work at Wasilla Vet in August of 2018. She graduated from the Mat-Su College Veterinary Assisting program in the summer of 2018. When Mercedes is not working with animals, she loves to go hiking, fishing, and on long road trips. She aspires to become an LVT in the future.

Beth, Client Service Representative

Beth was born and raised in Alaska. She has been working as a Client Service Representative for 15 years. She lives with her husband and a spoiled cat named Dori. Beth has two daughters, both who live in Alaska. Her oldest daughter is an Electrician and her youngest daughter just graduated from college and is working as a Paralegal in Anchorage. At home, Beth enjoys gardening, walking, and spending time with family. She also likes to fish and hunt whenever she can.


Carla, Client Service Representative

Carla was born in Oregon but has lived in Alaska for 20 years. She has been passionate about animals since she was a child. She’s grown up with them her whole life and is looking to further her career working with animals. In her free time, she enjoys hiking and taking photographs of wild life and the great outdoors. She is a mother of a five year old girl and currently has a German Shepherd and two cats.


Katelyn, Client Service Representative

Katelyn joined our team in 2016. She was born and raised in Alaska. Katelyn has loved animals all her life and is proud to be our "Crazy cat lady." She has two cats Jäger and Thanos, as well as, a dog named Titus at home with her fiancé Matthew. In her free time she enjoys road trips, hiking, camping, or just having a quiet day of movies and eating snacks with her little family.


Krisstina, Client Service Representative

Krisstina was born in Michigan and grew up in many different states since her family was military. Her family moved back here in 2009 and she started working at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic in March, 2010. During that time, Krisstina became certified as a Veterinary Technician Assistant through Mat Su Community College. She met and married her husband here in Alaska (who would want to live anywhere else?!) and both are animal lovers who hope to get more pets in the furture. Krisstina and her husband became new parents in October, 2015 with the birth of their wonderful baby boy. They also share their home with three cats – Christmas, Noel, and Ezmae. Krisstina is a big family person, so most of her time is spent with family and friends. She also enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, cooking/baking, and is very involved in their church, King’s Chapel.
