Whitney, Hospital Manager

Whitney was born and raised in Anchorage. She has been interested in animals, both wild and domestic, since a young age. She attended Humboldt State University where she earned a Bachelors of Science Degree in Wildlife Management and Conservation. Since graduating, she has worked on numerous field projects researching an assortment of birds, mammals and fish, as well as, a variety of administrative positions. In her free time she enjoys various outdoor activities including: hiking, kayaking and bird watching. She has an adventurous spirit and loves to travel locally, as well as, internationally. Whitney has been snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, snowboarding in the Swiss Alps and zip lining in the jungles of Mexico



Georgia, Veterinary Technician

Georgia joined our team in 2014. A real southern “Peach” who relocated to Alaska in 2012 with her husband and 3 children. She has been in the working in the Veterinary field since 2003 and has experience working in large, small, avian, exotic and emergency practices. Georgia is currently working on obtaining her Veterinary Technician License and plans to specialize in a couple different areas in the veterinary field. When Georgia isn’t working she enjoys hunting, camping, 4 wheeling, photography, zumba and spending time with her family. She and her family are owned by 2 amazing ‘Rotten-weilers’, Honey and Bjorn.

Jill, LVT, Veterinary Technician

Jill is a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She moved to Alaska in 2003 from Chicago and never looked back. Jill has been working in the veterinary field since 1994 and became a licensed technician after she moved to Alaska. Her special interests are behavior and nutrition. Jill likes to spend her free time training, showing and sledding with her Siberian Huskies.


Lindsey, Veterinary Technician

Lindsey moved to Alaska from Colorado with her husband and 24 Siberian Huskies in 2011. She first found her calling working with animals doing Siberian Husky rescue in the Western States. She has been part of the team at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic since 2012 and her prior experience includes working at a veterinary hospital/boarding facility in Colorado and as a shelter assistant at Mat-Su Animal Care. She is currently enrolled at Cedar Valley College to obtain her Veterinary Technician license. She currently resides in Willow with her husband, Siberian Huskies, and one spoiled rotten Australian Cattle dog.

Cheyenne, Veterinary Assistant

Sheleen, Veterinary Assistant

Sheleen was born in Alaska and has lived here most of her life. She joined our team in October 2014. Sheleen grew up on a farm and loves the farm life. Her special interests are working with cows and horses. She is currently attending Penn Foster College to earn an Associates of Science degree in Veterinary Technology. She plans to take the national exam and to become a licensed technician.

Client Service Specialists

Beth, Client Service Specialist

Beth was born and raised in Alaska. She has been working as a Client Service Specialist for 11 years. She has 4 pets; her two dogs, Buttercup and Abby and her two cats, Dori and Buddy. Beth has two daughters, both who live in Alaska. Her oldest daughter is an Electrician and her youngest daughter just graduated from college and is working as a Paralegal in Anchorage. At home, Beth enjoys gardening, walking her dogs, and spending time with family. She also likes to fish and hunt whenever she can.


Grecia, Client Service Specialist

Grecia has been an animal lover all her life. She and her Airman husband Kyle, have their own menagerie at home. They have five dogs, Bandit the Australian Cattle dog, Snow the GSD/ Husky mix, Thor the GDS/ Lab mix, Belle the Malamute/Husky mix, Ila the Grey Pyrenees/ Texas Heeler mix and last but not least Bumpy Grumpy the Russian tortoise. Because of her love for animals, she is happy to be working at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic. Although she grew up in San Diego, she loves living in Wasilla.


Krisstina, Client Service Specialist

Krisstina was born in Michigan and grew up in many different states since her family was military. Her family moved back here in 2009 and she started working at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic in March, 2010. During that time, Krisstina became certified as a Veterinary Technician Assistant through Mat Su Community College. She met and married her husband here in Alaska (who would want to live anywhere else?!) and both are animal lovers who hope to get more pets in the furture. Krisstina and her husband became new parents in October, 2015 with the birth of their wonderful baby boy. They also share their home with three cats – Christmas, Noel, and Ezmae. Krisstina is a big family person, so most of her time is spent with family and friends. She also enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, cooking/baking, and is very involved in their church, King’s Chapel.


Sabra, Client Service Specialist

Sabra joined the Client Service Specialist team in December, 2015. Her animal care experiences include working for the Mat Su Animal Care and Regulations as a shelter assistant and dispatcher for 8 years, a career diploma in Veterinary Assisting, and some college courses for Veterinary Technology. She was born and raised in southeast Alaska and has always loved animals and has always had a pet, or two, or three. She and her husband left southeast Alaska in 2002 and have lived in the southcentral area since. She loves to spend as much time as possible hunting, fishing, and camping with her husband Jason and two children. Her hobbies include watching the kids play sports, watching her daughter in rodeos, photography (her camera is never far from reach), riding her horse with her daughter, riding wheelers and snow machines, and exploring. Sabra and her family share their home with two dogs, three cats, one spoiled Holland lop rabbit.

Wendy, Client Service Specialist

Wendy joined the Wasilla Veterinary Clinic team in October of 2013. She has always loved animals and wanted to be part of the Veterinary field. She was born and raised in the Anchorage area where she met and married her husband who was in the military. Their many journeys include Oklahoma, Georgia and California. They moved back to Alaska in 2012 when her husband retired from the military. They have two boys, who are 9 and 3. She likes to spend as much time as possible with family. Wendy also enjoys the outdoors with her family which includes hunting, fishing, camping, hiking and skiing. Wendy could not imagine living anywhere else.
