Born and raised in Alaska, Abigail grew up surrounded by farm animals, spending her childhood hunting, fishing, and learning from her family the importance of respecting nature and all living creatures. Her love for animals has been lifelong, and her father—recognizing her compassionate heart—always encouraged her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

After traveling to several countries and living in Southeast Asia, Abigail saw firsthand the need for veterinary care in remote areas. Inspired by those experiences, she returned home to Alaska with a renewed sense of purpose and a desire to pursue veterinary school. Since joining our clinic, she’s found even more motivation from the incredible doctors and technicians she works alongside every day.

Outside of work, Abigail enjoys hiking with her dogs, gardening, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her beloved bearded dragon, Mr. Beans.
