Allison is originally from Los Angeles California and moved to Alaska in 2019. Before moving to Alaska, she worked at a guinea pig rescue in California where she assisted with the medical care of many tiny furry friends. Allison fell in love with the care of animals and she decided to start her career in veterinary medicine, she joined our team in April 2022. She aspires to become a veterinary technician and is always seeking to learn more about the “why” in veterinary medicine. Allison shares her life with a retired sled dog, named Nomad, who she adopted just 2 weeks after arriving in Alaska! When she isn’t working Allison enjoys hiking in the great outdoors OR curled up on the couch with a good movie and popcorn.
