Born and raised in Alaska, Aunika joined our team as a kennel assistant in February 2022. She knew at a very young age that she wanted a career in the veterinary field. Aunika is currently enrolled in the Technician Assisting program at Matsu College and plans on one day becoming a Veterinary Technician. Aunika is passionate about education and is always seeking ways to learn more about veterinary medicine.  When she isn't working, she can be found in the great outdoors riding horses. Aunika has a very special pet who she has grown up with for the past 11 years, a Bearded Dragon named Sahara. She also adopted a quirky canine companion named Sevro, who she plans on sharing many amazing hiking adventures with!
