Brittany was born and raised in a small town in Pennsylvania, and has since then followed her husband and his career path to Georgia and Colorado. They recently relocated to Alaska in the spring of 2017 and Brittany joined the team at Wasilla Veterinary Clinic shortly after. She attended The Academy of Art University for a few years pursuing a degree in photography before transferring to Pikes Peak Community College, graduating with an Associates of General Studies degree. She is now studying the Veterinary Technician program through Penn Foster, and hopes to become one in the future. She fell in love with the idea of working with animals after working for the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Colorado. In addition to working at the clinic, she is a part time volunteer at the Williams Reindeer Farm, and hopes to gain some experience with a variety of different animals throughout her newfound career path. In her spare time she is a bookworm and loves road trips. Although she has driven coast to coast, the Alaska Highway/Alcan is her all-time favorite drive. Brittany is an adventure lover who has greatly enjoyed crossing things off her bucket list here in Alaska (and adding to it) with her favorite being ice climbing the Matanuska Glacier. Her “Fur babies” include a couple of huskies named Max and Bailey, a shelter pup named Gus and a few cats named Binx and Milo.
