Jen grew up working on family ranches throughout the west. At 4 years old she saw a video about the Iditarod and decided that someday she would travel to Alaska and work with those amazing dogs. She has spent nearly two decades racing, training, and learning from hundreds of world class Alaskan Huskies. Her special interest is athletic dog care and soundness- developing techniques and insights to support the health and joy of canine athletes. Jen has been a client of Wasilla Veterinary Clinic for 15 years and was honored to join the team as she trains to become a veterinary technician. She is mom to a fashion obsessed pre-teen daughter and loves spending time with her partner and their sled dogs at their home near Talkeetna.
