Originally from Wisconsin, Morgan returned to Alaska in 2023 after previously living in Fairbanks for four years—and she’s thrilled to be back in the Last Frontier. A lifelong animal lover, Morgan knew from an early age that she wanted to work in veterinary medicine. She graduated in 2007 from an AVMA-accredited veterinary technician program in Madison, WI.

Morgan brings years of hands-on experience, especially with working dogs, including bear hounds and sled dogs. She has an interest in exotic pets—particularly birds and reptiles—and is deeply passionate about animal behavior and nutrition.

Outside the clinic, Morgan’s life is full of adventure and creativity. She enjoys sprint mushing, riding horses, making stained glass art, playing video games, and diving into sustainable practices like aquaponics and livestock raising. Her beloved animal companions include a 21-year-old cockatiel named Horatio, a spirited pack of sled dogs, and one very unexpected (but well-loved) Malinois.
